1959 – Teresa Herrera Trophy (Spain)
In 1959, Peixe faced the Botafogo of Garrincha and conquered the trophy Teresa Herrera, traditional tournament created in 1946 disputed in the city of La Coruña, in Spain. In its first editions the tournament was disputed only by two teams. Santos participated twice, in 1959 and in 1986.

The tournament disputed in Valencia occurred during the grand tour of Santos through Europe in 1959. The competition was also known as the Naranja trophy and Santos got the title in a historical rout at Internazionale of Milao.
